Terms & Conditions

TENMWA PROPERTIES PRIVATE LIMITED T/A Clearwater self catering apartments is a registered private company, in accordance with the Company Laws of the Republic of South Africa

 1.Reservations and Payment and Terms
-The establishment operates on a self catering basis and does not provide or arrange other services such as meals, personal laundry, transport, tours, functions, events, parties, baby sitting, and conferences.

- Please note that Clearwater does not accommodate unmarried and or dating couples.

-The names and relationship of the persons sharing the unit must be provided when the reservation is made. No additional guests without permission from management.

-Reservations will not be confirmed until proof of payment is received by us. A 50% deposit is required to secure bookings. The balance can then be paid in cash on arrival if preferred, except for peak period bookings where payment must be done in full.

-The guest retains personal liability for the bill until the employer, agent, or person that made the reservation on his or her behalf has settled it.

-EFT is the preferred method of payment. We do not have credit card facilities nor do we accept cheques.

-Rates are subject to change without notice and  Quotations are valid for 24 hours unless otherwise specified.

Refunds on cancellations will only be made after payment has been finally cleared by the bank or Credit Card Company. This process can take in excess of 30 days. Please check our cancellation policy.

2.Check-in

– Normal Check In time starts at 14h00, but every effort will be made to accommodate earlier or later Check Ins (if arranged in advance)

3.Check-out

– Checkout time is 10h00. Please tell us in advance if you require a later Checkout and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.

4.Room keys and Access

–Keys and Remote will be handed over to the guest after payment and administration. Guests must lock their rooms and apartment on their way out and keep their set of keys for the duration of stay

5.Room keys on departure

– Keys will be collected on departure or if the guest need to leave very early guest will be informed where to leave the keys. Rooms must be locked and  windows closed

6.Lost key or damage to locks

– The cost for replacement of lost room keys or damaged locks is applicable for lock replacement to be paid immediately. The cost of replacement keys and remote control is R400.00

7.Smoking and Acohol

– Smoking and Alcohol consumption is completely forbidden inside the house.

8.Flammables  

– Please do not use flammables for heating, candles, etc, in the apartment or corridors without the consent of the owner.

9.Bedrooms

– Cooking, eating and storing food in the bedrooms is not allowed.

10.Valuables, security and storage

– Although the management takes responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.

– Keep the Apartment locked at all times when absent.

11.Parking

– Parking is available free of charge for all guests. Do not park in the way of the electrical motorized gate when in a fully open or half way open position as it closes automatically after a few seconds.

– Do not leave any valuables inside your car while it is parked. The Clearwater cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of any such articles while your car is parked.

12.Toilets

– No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.Please  keep the toilet clean.

13.Furniture

All furniture must be kept inside the apartment. If there is need to take table and chairs outside they must returned inside immediately to avoid rain damage.

14.Common areas:

Swimming pool and braai area are common areas of ECOPARK Estate and guests are encouraged to use them to their need or recreation, nevertheless there are some rules to abide by:

15.Swimming pool

– Guests may use the pool on their own risk;

– No children are allowed near the pool without adult supervision;

– Keep the pool area neat and clean at all times;

– Keep noise level at the pool area low as other guests rooms are situated directly above the pool;

– Please inform kids not to urinate in the pool water (let us keep the pool hygienic for other guest as well);

16.Braai Area

– Keep the barbecue area clean. After use leave it as you’ve found it;

– Use proper starter fluid;

– Store the can of starter fluid out of reach of children and away from heat sources;

– Never leave the fire unattended once it has been lit;

– Keep children and pets away from the braai area.

17.Pet Policy

-Pets are not allowed.

18.Your Liabilities

– We will hold you responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your acts or omissions, default, accident or neglect. By booking with us you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand an amount reasonably required to make good or to rectify such damage or loss caused by you. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

– Please report any accidents or incidents to the guest house management in connection with any property damage.

19.General incapacity

– The Clearwater Apartment cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guest house from fulfilling its obligation to guests. However, the guest house will take necessary steps to minimize disruption and discomfort to guests under these conditions:

* Unanticipated interruption to electricity, water, sewage to and from the guest house;

* Industrial actions, civil uprising or criminal activity;

* Fire, frost, flooding, wind or any other force major event.

20.Noise and Cleanliness

We ask you to respect other residents concerning cleanliness of the common areas and noise level. If we receive complaints, you will be given a warning. Further complaints are subject to the termination of stay. We reserve the right to end a reservation if a guest becomes a disturbance/nuisance to others including management.

21.Environmental Policy

– The owners of Clearwater apartment are dedicated to the protection of our planets resources and would encourage our guests to help us by:

* Switching off lights when not in use;

* Ensuring that taps are always turned off after use;

* We thank you in advance for your comprehension and co-operation.
